Melbourne Recital Centre acknowledges that we hold in trust an arts facility built on land of which the Kulin Nation are the traditional custodians.  We respect the elders of the Kulin Nation and we undertake to ensure that the work of artists who identify as being of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent is represented in the Centre.

The Melbourne Recital Centre team is passionate about chamber music. We're committed to developing audiences and ensembles alike and to growing the art-form in Australia. Several of our program streams will directly address these challenges. At the same time, we are planning to bring you a select number of exquisite programming events each year - musical offerings that are innovative, thoughtful and scholarly, something to focus international attention on the unique world view that Australia has to offer.
